What a great success this event was, we had the handbags in the shop for one week and everyone was just going ape. For those of you that got to see them in person great and for those of you who couldn't make it well here are some pictures for you to enjoy. These are beautiful knitted and felted bags made with Cascade 220 and dazzling novelty yarns.

What a wonderful day everyone had, I have received some beautiful emails from several of the students all having a grand time enjoying not only Cat but making new friends.

GREAT NEWS - Cat is coming back in October 2007. That's right Cat will spend October 26, 27 and 28th with friends of Sit 'N Stitch and teach an exclusive shop piece (to be announced) this event will be held at the Queen Mary in Long Beach. For those of you that are not familiar with Cat she is the Author, Publisher and Designer of A Treasury of Magical Knitting, A Second Treasury of Magical Knitting and Socks Soar on Circular Knitting Needles. More details to follow.

Monthly Afghan Squares

Join any time. The 4th Saturday of every month from 10:30a -12:30p. Each square will teach you different stitches and techniques. Learn beading, bobbles, cable, etc., cost $37.50 Plus materials. Special discounts if you sign up for 4, 6, 8, 10 12 classes. At the end of the project we will show you how join the squares.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

It's time for our second annual Halloween party. Come and celebrate on Sunday, October 30th from 1p-4p. We will have a costume contest, games, food and more. Scarf. Teaching fee $40.00 plus materials, Saturday, October 1.


Wine and Cheese Social
The 1st Monday of the month from 6:30p-8p Sit 'N Stitch will have a wine and cheese social. Bring your knitting, crochet, needlepoint or cross-stitch projects and chat with other people that have the same interest.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY
What fun we had at Becky's birthday party, she had approximately 20 people for dinner and champagne. Then we celebrated her birthday with lots of gifts, cake and ice cream. Becky treated everyone to a scarf project with yarns from Southwest Trading company and instructions with our knitting teacher.
