Crochet

818-760-9330

The word crochet comes from the French word croc meaning a hook. It is formed like knitting, into a looped fabric from one continuous length of yarn. But whereas knitting uses two or more needles onto which a number of stitches are cast, crochet uses only one hook on which one stitch at a time is worked. As with knitting we have a wonderful array of new yarns, bright and colorful with wonderful textures. The supplies used for crochet include crochet hook, yarn, scissors, tape measure, pins and sewing needles, row counter and stitch holder. Crochet has many new patterns with both the look of yesteryear and the 21st century.
